since i was a child.

That reminds me to tell you a story
about the women of my family –

My great-grandmother
was courted by a man in the USA.
He only had a picture
yet decided to win her heart.
He did.
Then he brought her here from Finland.

My grandmother herself, from Finland,
was married to my grandfather in secret
for many years in America.
It was illegal for married women to work
but she did it anyway.
They were married until he died.
She was an impressive loyal wife.

My mother married my father in secret
and Grandmother never forgave her
so i had to tell my mom.
She is wonderful and i love her.
I’m glad your mom is good too.

I think you are wise to move so freely.
Now, YOU have to believe in ME!
My heart is good
you'll be safe with me
there is a higher love on our side.
a love bigger than people and places
a love that's more like God.
You know?

Maybe you think i am crazy now
or maybe you understand.
Just letting you know what is "Me"
and who "I am" -
the artist you are about to marry.
This is real, it is happening.

A special time - we met -
it was fate
it was karma and
you are just what my doctor ordered!
A sweet secret baby surprise. :-)

I know you worry about things too
but don't worry with me

It is so much like you said -
"you never know" and
"we'll cross that bridge
when we get there"
I like that thinking about u
and i may have been static here, lately,
on “this side” of the bridge.

I like that you have traveled the world.
One day you will learn of my life.
2 different places on Earth
and we found ourselves in Florida.
Fucking FLORIDA USA!
