I tried to touch you
while we were touching
but it didn't work.
It just hurt.

I know you'll see me
if even peripherally
when you turn your head
you're gonna miss me.

But i was there
i was in your hands
and you didn't want to see me.

I'm not reaching anymore
not forcing things to go
this way or that

I'm letting it go.
You know what that means?
I am letting you go
for what heaven brings.

That is my place.
That is my right.
You're out of my reach now
